Where should I have our son's pictures taken?
We are planning on having a free-lance photographer come get some pictures taken for our son's 6-months. Our house is not so pretty and it would be too hot to have taken at the park. Should we let the photographer come take pictures at our house anyways? It's in dire need of some renovations.
Why would it be to hot to go to the park? Pick a time of day when there is lots of shade as this will not only mean your son is not to hot but is much better for the photographer as far as light is concerned.
If you would really prefer to have your images shot at home then make sure you house is nice and tidy and ask the photographer to do some nice close up crops and use a shallow DOP. Even in the most basic location an experienced photographer should still be able to get some great shots. Saying that thy will be a little more limited to what they can do when compared to a nice location. Why not do some in your home and then venture outside?
