The Amazon Kindle, Amazon Foray handheld reading devices, e-book, was released in November. Readers splashed the scene with a photo of the toolkit Amazon Newsweek and hopes that the Kindle would do for digital playback-on-the-go what the iPod did for digital music. That is, make it a viable concept and business, full of enthusiastic users.
However, there is not much to evangelize the course through the Kindle.
Some people like a Palm-sized smallness of the Kindle, while others laugh at her little clumsily designed keyboard and casing. Opinions are mixed and lot of them.
Once you have the Kindle, you can visit Amazon online store of books, where you can buy new books to 9.99 $, Which is a reduction from that new Hardcovers usually costs. Although this proposal you do not end up owning a tree made tangible book you enjoy reading. But this raises an important issue for readers of e-book.
People want to read books in the same way they read blogs and news, via a computer screen? An e-book reader should have a high degree of interactivity with other Kindle owners who are friends. It should be so advanced and appealing as a iPhone. It should be able to do most of what a high tech phone cellphone can do more of the functionality of reading books. It seems like it does too little if you can not use it to access maps, yellow pages and search engines. For $ 399, it should do a little these things. At the very least, you should be able to do Internet searches.
Computers have become so intertwined in our work and personal life, it seems logical that a reader e-book is the next step. And it may be. But it should not be only one e-book reader. This must be an e-book reader and a cell phone. I think the designers of Kindle misread the psychology of an e-book reader.
This is bibliophiles who will not use this thing. It's the geek who wants a handheld to do more for him than he expected and he can WOW her friends who have not.
Surprisingly, or expected, the Amazon Kindle is sold out. Or at least that's what it Amazon said.
The Kindle makes sense on paper. But that's the problem.
