The electronic book reader should be regarded as the wave of the future and the Kindle 2 is no exception. The basic features include an E-Ink display with 16 shades of gray, 6 different sizes (good bye reading glasses!) and weighing 10 ounces of light. (no more hand cramps for arthritic hands, fingers and wrists!).
The Kindle 2 e-book reader can hold up to 1,500 pounds of medium size and uses wireless technology when connecting to the Internet to download the book and access to Wikipedia. There is no charge monthly wireless access or other rights of the cost of the Kindle 2, and each book. In fact, most Kindle books are priced at about $ 9.99, this representing approximately $ 4/book cheaper than Sony's DRM versions on average.
The Kindle 2 also includes text to speech ability for these moments where you need hands for something. I can see this feature as a great help in the kitchen when you prepare the ingredients while Kindle 2 reads the recipe for you!
In addition to books, you can also download newspapers, magazines and blogs about 1000. An average book, they say, takes about 60 seconds to download to their greater speed. We have 230,000 titles available for download on the Amazon Kindle Store and this number increases every day.
Although Sony offers a very similar product, the 2 e-book reader Kindle offers more options at a price much better. The advantage of being able to download books without a computer, loaders included (USB and wall charger) access Wikipedia and in newspaper and magazine downloads and the price of each book is just a lot of advantages over the Sony version.
One and only disadvantage of the Kindle 2 e-book reader is that it is the lack of an LED light for night reading. However, omission on the part of Amazon, can easily be overcome by purchasing a $ 15 light clip.
Overall, the Kindle 2 is a clear leader in the kind of eBook Reader. Expect it to sell quickly!
