Located in the northern part of South America, the Amazon is shared between nine different countries, one of which is Brazil. His point Landmark vast stretches to almost 60% of Brazilian land. Full and rich with trees 120 feet high and equipped with species known and unknown to man, the Amazon rainforest is home to both mankind and the animal kingdom.
He made both in absorption carbon dioxide and is the main contributor to the prevention of greenhouse gas emissions accumulate in the surface of our atmosphere. However, with increasing rate of deforestation in the Amazon, the world may be in the palm of his hand fatal.
Imagine how the trends would be if the Amazon forest dying? The accumulation its carbon dioxide may be exhausted back to the air, and the abrupt adverse changes in the greenhouse is likely. Our wildlife resources would soon be exhausted and the main source of natural life would undoubtedly come to an end.
The Roots Of Deforestation Amazon
Each year, huge areas of rainforest are destroyed for the sole purpose of agricultural use, and the main culprits are poor farmers and large companies. Clearing the smaller areas of the forest is a form of feeding the population impoverished areas while the largest empty for the conversion of forest vegetation soybeans. Statistically speaking, these companies would reach a height up to the level of planting soybeans in the U.S. Midwest, and they would be gradually covering the entire Amazon if not stopped.
Logging is also one of the main causes of sterile areas of the Amazon. Local people depend wood for construction of small houses and build fire. These actions do not do much damage to the forest, since the raw materials necessary are only sparingly. However, with large corporations leading the way, and with the massive demand for timber, the Amazon forest would probably exhaustion its sources. The chances of recovery after an "attack" are diminished. In addition, grazing animals in these forests can not adapt to changes which lead to extinction. A false movement of man can cause huge and drastic changes in the environment.
The results of deforestation in the Amazon
The forest is home to many living creatures, it is also the source of many human needs essential. If the vast lands of the Amazon forest will disappear, the world will be deprived of a balanced ecosystem, and this interruption would result as follows: houses thousands of plants and animals will be destroyed, the global climate will change, human sources of medicine and food will be terminated.
Humans will no longer be protected against disasters like floods, erosion and drought, tribal people will lose their habitat, and finally, there would be no natural forests in Nice and explore in.
The future is really difficult to see and predict. It takes time to convince and motivate people to change. Perhaps with the steady increase in deforestation in the Amazon, it is not unlikely that the world fall apart with a simple snap of fingers.
It is certainly difficult to appreciate something while he is still there. Remember, regrets usually come last. Thus, even before nature turned against us, we must strive to become leaders of change.
